ahmedabad/yellow kairagi neti pot
yellow kairagi neti pota pot with rounded base and extremely elongated spout,
made from austrian stoneware clay with a yellow engobe.
the glaze consists of reed ash, feldspar and apple wood ash.
because of size concerns, I took a similar, smaller pot with
an orange engobe to india. it can be seen in the following images
a neti pot is a vessel used in hatha yoga to rinse the nostrils with water.
I discovered that it is quite obscure even in india.
