I was thinking about energy transmission and the law of attraction
when working on this piece.
it is an attempt to revisit a memory by placing a keeper in it.
not surprisingly, this was the first piece to sell at the pop-up
ceramics shop in ahmedabad.
the person who bought it is a passionate collector of art and design.
his mother can be seen sitting at a george nakashima table,
finishing the last of her dinner

a vase made from austrian stoneware clay, h 32cm
it is assembled from 6 wheel thrown parts and a coiled loop.
a gold overglaze, containing the actual precious metal,
has been applied over the exterior of the piece
